Capella MIPA / MIPA Pin Secure your printer output and digital sending activities with the MegaTrack In-Printer Agent with PIN-code access (MIPA PIN).  MIPA PIN tracks printer and mfp usage directly inside the device, offering improved accuracy and reliability over SNMP traps and MIB polling methods.  MIPA is available for stand-alone devices with no control panel keypad. This solution will provide the same functionality as MIPA PIN for certain devices lacking walk-up functionality.

It also provides accounting of all printers and copiers usage so that reports can be generated for users, cost centers, cost codes, and printers. Print jobs are never lost, stolen or picked up accidentally - nothing gets printed until the user is identified and authenticated at the printer.  PIN codes, bar codes, proximity, swipe or smart cards can be used to control equipment feature access and usage.  Duplicate print jobs are eliminated at source and user restrictions can be applied in a number of ways to save toner, paper and developer.  Costs can be monitored and logged on a user, cost center, cost code and printer basis.  Provides secure copy accounting including Client Code assertion on copiers and multifunction devices plus all of the features of FollowMe Printing.

HP Web JetAdmin HP Web JetAdmin 10.0 is a simple, print and imaging peripheral management software tool that helps optimize device utilization, control color costs, secure devices, and streamline supplies management by enabling remote configuration, proactive monitoring, security, troubleshooting, and reporting of printing and imaging devices. HP Web JetAdmin 10.0 supports HP and non-HP printers connected through HP JetDirect print servers and standard printer MIB-compliant third-party network connected printers. The capabilities available for third-party printers will vary from basic to more robust capabilities when the devices are used with HP-certified HP Web JetAdmin 10.0 plug-ins.
